Delivery
1. Delivery & Logistics
1.1 Access Requirements: Deliveries are conducted via large 18-ton heavy goods vehicles (HGV) equipped with tail lifts. It is the Customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that the delivery address has sufficient road access and doorway clearance for a vehicle of this size before placing an order.
1.2 Delivery Schedule: Deliveries are scheduled on weekdays between 08:00 and 18:00. We will provide approximate delivery dates once your order is placed.
1.3 Kerbside Policy: All deliveries are strictly "Curb Side Drops." While the delivery person may, at their discretion, assist in moving the goods within the premises, R4nk1n accepts no liability for any damage to property or goods incurred during this process.
1.4 Failed Deliveries: A booking call will be made on the day of delivery. If the customer is unreachable, or if access is restricted, the delivery attempt will be aborted. Aborted deliveries incur significant delivery charges which will be passed on to the customer.
2. Claims for Damages or Shortages
2.1 Inspection at Point of Delivery: All goods must be inspected immediately upon arrival. Any damage, defects, or missing components must be noted on the driver’s delivery note.
2.2 Reporting Window: Claims for missing or damaged items will not be accepted if they are not reported at the precise time of delivery. Signed delivery notes without specified damage, or those marked "unchecked," will be deemed as accepted in good condition.
Cancellations
3. Cancellations
3.1 Pre-Dispatch: Orders cancelled before dispatch are subject to a 5% administrative fee of the total order value.
3.2 Post-Dispatch (Pre-Unpacking): If an order is cancelled after leaving the warehouse but before the packaging is opened, a fee of up to 25% of the invoice value will apply.
3.3 Post-Unpacking: If cancellation occurs after the items have been unpacked, a charge of up to 60% of the invoice value will apply. Additional delivery fees may be incurred for restocking the item.
Returns
4. Returns & Restocking Fees
4.1 Return Window: Customers must notify us of their intent to return an item within 21 days of the delivery date.
4.2 Condition for Return: Returned goods must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all original manuals and documentation.
4.3 Restocking Fee: All authorised returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 50% of the item cost.
4.4 Return Shipping & Collections:

Customer Arrangement: The customer is responsible for the cost and logistics of returning goods to our warehouse.

Merchant Collection: R4nk1n may, at its discretion, arrange for the collection of goods if they meet our collection criteria (e.g., palletised or bulky items). If R4nk1n arranges the collection, the direct transport cost will be deducted from the final refund amount.

Aborted Collections: If a collection is scheduled and fails due to customer error or lack of access, the customer will be liable for the full cost of the aborted transport.
5. Refund Process & Timelines
5.1 Inspection Period: Once a return is received at our warehouse, please allow 3–5 business days for our technicians to inspect the goods.
5.2 Refund Approval: Following a successful inspection, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the conditions outlined in Section 4.
5.3 Payment Credits: Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

Credit/Debit Cards: Typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days.

Bank Transfers: Usually completed within 3–5 business days.
5.4 Deductions: Any applicable restocking fees (up to 50%) and merchant-arranged collection costs will be deducted from the total refund amount.

7. Limitation of Liability
R4nk1n is not liable for any consequential loss or damage resulting from late delivery (including loss of profit) or for any other claims for compensation, as traffic delays and logistics issues are beyond our reasonable control.
