7. Warranties, Returns & Cancellations

7.1 Quality Assurance: We warrant that Goods will materially conform to their description and be free from material defects at the time of delivery.

7.2 Defect Reporting: Any latent defects must be reported in writing within 3 Business Days of discovery. Failure to report within this window constitutes acceptance of the Goods.

7.3 Manufacturer Warranties: Most Goods carry a manufacturer’s parts-only or parts-and-labor warranty. R4NK1N facilitates these claims but is not the primary warrantor. Note: Warranties are void if equipment is not installed by a qualified F-Gas or NIC-EIC certified engineer.

7.4 Service Call Deposits: We reserve the right to require a refundable deposit (at our current standard rate) prior to dispatching an engineer. This deposit is refunded only if the fault is deemed a warrantable manufacturing defect. If the fault is due to poor maintenance, incorrect installation, or user error, the deposit is forfeited and additional charges may apply.

7.5 Geographic Limitation: Warranties are valid only within the UK Mainland. Offshore or international locations may be subject to parts-only supply or additional logistical fees.

7.6 Shipping Damage & Shortages: You must inspect all Goods upon arrival. Shortages or visible damage must be noted on the courier’s Proof of Delivery (POD) as "Damaged" or "Shortage." Reporting "Unchecked" is not sufficient for a claim. Damage must be reported to R4NK1N within 24 hours.

7.7 Non-Delivery: Any claim for non-delivery must be submitted in writing within 3 Business Days of the scheduled delivery date.

7.8 Returns Authorization: No Goods may be returned without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Items must be returned in their original, unopened packaging with all transit bolts and protective films intact.

7.9 Restocking Fees: Authorized returns of non-defective Goods are subject to a restocking fee (minimum 25%) plus the cost of original and return carriage.

7.10 Exclusions: Used, "B-grade," or bespoke-ordered items are non-returnable and non-refundable unless verified as defective upon arrival.

7.11 Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If an Order is canceled while Goods are in transit, you will be liable for all outbound and return shipping costs, plus any applicable handling fees.
