10. WEEE Regulations & Environmental Responsibility

10.1 Environmental Commitment: R4NK1N Consultancy Limited is committed to reducing the environmental impact of commercial refrigeration. In compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations, we promote the recovery, recycling, and responsible reuse of all electrical components.

10.2 Disposal Identification: All Goods subject to WEEE regulations are marked with the "crossed-out wheelie bin" symbol. These items must not be disposed of via general municipal waste streams.

10.3 Transfer of Responsibility: Unless otherwise agreed in writing at the time of Order, the Customer assumes full legal and financial responsibility for the environmentally sound disposal of the Goods at the end of their life cycle.

10.4 Disposal Services: R4NK1N offers a professional, chargeable collection and disposal service for redundant equipment. If you require disposal of existing units upon delivery of new Goods, you must:

Notify us in writing prior to Sales Order Confirmation.

Accept the specific disposal quotation (all standard price lists exclude these costs).

10.5 Condition of Collection: Equipment for disposal must be disconnected, decommissioned (including professional refrigerant recovery where applicable), and positioned for safe kerbside collection unless otherwise arranged.

10.6 International & EU Compliance: For Goods supplied to EU Member States or outside the UK Mainland, the local importer or distributor assumes all obligations for WEEE compliance in accordance with their local jurisdiction.
